World Book Deyes

World book day was on Thursday 3^rd March, an event that occurs every year to promote reading books to children. In Deyes High School various different characters were spotted, such as a Smurf and the Gruffalo.

 
 

Thanks to the generosity of the staff at Deyes High we were able to raise in excess of £250 for the RDA. Beechley Stables RDA is part of The Riding for the Disabled Association. Their aim is to provide fun and therapy for people with disabilities. We spoke to English teacher Ms Dahl who suggested this cause, who told us “I was completely overwhelmed because of the generosity of the staff”.
